Basic duties: Performs assignments such as developing a working knowledge of fire suppression and fuels management techniques, practices, and terminology.
Specialized duties: Depending on experience, employees may also assist in more advanced tasks like:
-Conducting backfire and burnout operations.
-Building helispots.
-Assisting with helitack operations.
-Performing hover hookups.
Requirements:
-U.S. Citizenship.
-Must be 18+ and pass physical/fitness tests.
-Valid driver’s license within 30 days.
-Background check and drug testing.
